NANA KOMATSU takes the spotlight in pieces from the CHANEL Tumble Wintertime 2023 runway selection posing in entrance of the lens of Inez & Vinoodh. The legendary vogue pictures duo enlisted by Chanel and the maison’s Creative Director Virginie Viard. Chanel Drop Winter season 2023 selection is to consider the runway these days on the final working day of the season’s Paris Vogue Week.
The placing photos that includes Nana are inspired by the legendary film that motivated generations of vogue creatives, Inez & Vinoodh masterfully took on the famous Who Are You, Polly Maggoo? from 1966. The film withstood many years many thanks to it is signature trend type and the work of director and photographer William Klein. The story follows a youthful product from the States dwelling in Paris, back again then performed by Dorothy McGowan. For the session the established layout was specially created to imagine the apartment of the film’s star.

The shoot is accompanied by a masterfully shot video tale starring Nana in black and white. “Nana Komatsu wears a lengthy black and white tweed coat woven with camellias, a two-tone tweed accommodate with a patent bag, and a floral jumper with vast-reduce trousers in washed faille embroidered with massive petals, from the Slide-Winter 2023/24 All set-to-Use collection. The lessened dimension of the room, reinforced by the extensive-angle effect, adds a surreal dimension to these illustrations or photos, which is echoed in the rest of the movie and photos.
